“Dankélé” means “The Brave”: those who work, those who suffer. The clip, shot in Bamako with little money, transcribes the atmosphere of this city and the universe of Bamba Wassoulou Groove: colorful, and electrifying. The Bamba Wassoulou Groove composed of 6 musicians (three guitars, a bass, a drums, and a singer) is in the process of erecting a real wall of sound.

No griotic references, but a wizarding funk and dizzying rock pulsations in the service of an angry whirling and hypnotic pentatonic music. A repertoire composed of a majority of new songs and some great Bambara classics, which goes beyond the sole celebration of its kind. An album like a story where the depths of memory and the radiance of the present meet.
