Taly Diampovesa
Taly Diampovesa is a Franco-Congolese singer born in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. She grew up between Africa and France, where she discovered her passion for music. She began singing in gospel choirs, then met producer Bastien Lavigne aka Cubongo, with whom she collaborated on several musical projects.
Taly Diampovesa stands out for her powerful, expressive voice, which blends Lingala, her mother tongue, with French. She sings songs that speak of her identity, her roots, her emotions and her dreams. She draws inspiration from the rhythms and sounds of Africa, the Caribbean and America, creating an original, crossbred style.
Taly Diampovesa has released several singles, including “Mibalé”, a tribute to Congolese rumba, and “Naza”, an invitation to express her singularity. She also took part in the “Bastien & Taly” project, an album inspired by exchanges between Cuba and Congo, which was supported by the “Cumbancha” and “Putumayo World Music” labels. Taly Diampovesa is a committed artist who aims to convey a message of diversity, tolerance and joy through her music.
