Rogatien Milord
Rogatien Milord is a young Congolese musician, guitarist, composer and performer from North Kivu. He is currently based in Kampala, Uganda.
His solo career began in January 2014 with Multiple performances at home and abroad on various Music stages in East Africa alongside Artists such as: Lokua Kanza, A’salfo, Manu Dibango, Éric Smith…. At Blanket and Wine / East Africa, Qwela Junction, he was one of the most watched talents during the 2nd season of THE VOICE AFRIQUE FRANCOPHONE. He has also taken part in other events such as SICA in Guinea and JazzKiff in the DRC.
Rogatien Milord is known for his music, which conveys a message of positivity (love, peace, human values), with a unique and original musical style and soft voice. He is very active on social networks, notably on his Facebook page “Milord Music”.
As a musician, Rogatien Milord is considered a young up-and-coming talent in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is a frequent guest of honor in his native region. He has also participated as a sponsor in the final of an artistic competition.
Rogatien Milord declares himself to be an African of Congolese origin, and is a hopeful enthusiast. In addition to his musical career, he is also a committed activist. He uses his voice and his music to defend causes close to his heart.
Rogatien released his debut album “Horizon” in 2023, featuring 13 songs with powerful, inspiring messages. He is indeed a worthy son of Africa.
