Prince Bulo is a multi-faceted bass player, musician, producer and DJ. He has rapidly become amongst the first-to-call musicians, producers and music directors in South Africa, making hit records with international stars such as Black Coffee, DJ Tira, Naak Musiq and Durban’s Finest. His ability to cross between genres at ease has landed him gigs with notable artists such as Dwele, Frank McComb, Maysa, Gerald Albright, Africa Plus and recordings with exciting modern acts such as Shekhinah, Afrotraction, Mi Casa to mention a few. He has toured extensively in countries such as South Africa, USA, Canada, Argentina, Bolivai, France, Sweden, Qatar, India, DRC, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Swaziland.
Bulo graduated cum-laude from the University of KwaZulu Natal school of Arts majoring in Composition, Arranging and Performance as well as completed Film Scoring and Orchestration courses at Berklee College of Music. In 2013 he joined one of Africa’s leading independent record stables Afrotainment as the Head of A & R.
In 2010, Bulo started his company Prince Bulo Productions Pty (Ltd) (PBP). PBP is a full music service company that provides film score composing, live music production, publishing, musician staffing, artist development and studio production.
