One Lyrical
El Hadji Dame Dieng, better known as One Lyrical was born in Guinaw Rails North in Pikine commune, Dakar.
One has a primary and secondary education at Sanka School in Thiaroye.
He started rapping in 2013 with a band called Black Under. But in late 2014 he left the band to pursue a solo career. Since then he has signed with the label Rep’Tyle Music based in Thiaroye.
One Lyrical has played a lot of concerts on Dakar, Rufisque, Thiés … and participated in the Flow Up 2014 with Rep’Team (all the artists of his label) where they were among the finalists.
The name One Lyrical comes from the fact that at a very young age he was a good footballer, we called him One to say the best. And as a rapper he insists on the lyrics, he is a lyricist or One Lyrical.
