One Love, his real name Steve Roland Etogo Akpe is a Cameroonian rapper and entrepreneur born on December 13 in Yaoundé. He made himself known on the Cameroonian music scene in 2003 by winning the National Competition of Chanson Mutzig, organized in Cameroon by the brewery company Les Brasseries du Cameroun.
His first album entitled The ghetto also wants gnama released in 2006. It is a committed artist, known for his pronounced pronouncements on issues of politics and morals. One Love has 4 albums and dozens of singles today.
He made his first steps in music at a very young age by participating in school fairs. He also joins in choirs. He played football professionally for several years before embarking on an artistic career. Shared between studies, music and football, ONE LOVE decided to truly embark on music in 2003 when he took part in the Mutzig Song National Competition organized by the Brasseries du Cameroun.
His victory at the annual music competition organized by the brewery brand Mutzig in Cameroon allows him to make himself known to the general public. He participated in the sequel to the Best off of the national contest of the 2003 song. In 2006, he released his first album called the ghetto also wants gnama in which we find the songs Baton and Bean and Tapioca Thank you.
In 2005, he created the label Ghettomania, under which he evolves since then.
One Love raps on various topics, news items to more serious topics. He is also a committed rapper whose texts generally deal with the problems that undermine the Cameroonian society; poverty, corruption, juvenile delinquency, HIV / AIDS, terrorism and politics.
His second album From Shadow to Light was released in 2010, followed only a year later by David Vs Goliath.
