Kollins is an afrobeats, RnB and afropop musician from Togo. Since his youth, he is passionate about music.
In 1995, he made his first steps by integrating his mother’s choir as a guitarist.
From then on the young Dream Face takes the way of studios full of ideas in mind. But not finding footwear at his feet among local composers and being too expensive to work with foreign arrangers, he resigned himself to self-training. A year later, Kollins wrote and composed for many artists of his entourage in Togo.
Rocked by Michael Jackson during his childhood, Kollins was able to create his own style by absorbing influences such as R.kelly, Ne-yo or Chris Brown.
In early 2010, he collaborates with a local rapper with whom he creates a band. Their first song is a great success and remains at the top of the charts in Togo during 14 months being the song most broadcast on radio. He therefore receives the Togo Hip Hop Awards the tube prize of the year. His musical career then took a strong rise and many artists solicit him as arranger.
As he takes flight, a sad event occurs in his life: he loses his father. Under the shock he composes a song “Papa” in tribute to this one. At the moment when he began to recover, Kollins was again carried away by mourning with the death of his mother. Alone in the face of life, he loses all hope and has no taste for anything. Supported by his best friend, Kollins then decided to devote himself body and soul to his passion: singing.
At the end of 2010, after a number of different ideas within the group and following his meeting with producer and director Jeff ATTIOGBE, he decided to start a solo career and joined the Bomb Factory Studio team.
Between Akon and Psquare, in a style that mixes RnB, Ragga and Afro-music, Kollins is considered the revelation of this end of the year.
