Gregory Bortey Newman, known by his stage name King Promise is an award-winning Ghanaian recording artist who had several songs on the charts at the same time in 2017.
King Promise who is managed by Legacy Life Entertainment had about 3 songs on the charts at a point in 2017 – ‘Oh Yeah’, ‘Hey Sexy’ and ‘Selfish’. In the same year he paid tribute to Sarkodie for his first opportunity. According to King Promise, he run into Sarkodie on the streets following which he got a reference from Sarkodie to work with Killbeatz and Fuse ODG.
