Indira is a Cameroonian gospel singer and film actress. She was born on July 9, 2002 in Dimako, a town in eastern Cameroon.
A versatile artist, she sings in several genres, including bikutsi, rap, hip hop and makossa.
She began her musical career at the age of 6 and released her first album, Quelle Joie, in 2009. Since then, she has released three other albums: Consécration, Le Surnaturel and Souffle Nouveau.
She has collaborated with artists such as Serge Beynaud, KS Bloom and Majoie Ayi. She won the award for best gospel music artist or group at the Canal 2’Or in 2021.
She is also an actress and has appeared in films such as Il a le dernier mot, Conséquence and Les Feats de Takam. She is in her fourth year of medicine at the University of Yaoundé I. She is the daughter of Crescence Baboke, a pastor, and Oswald Baboke, a senior civil servant.
