Gadoukou la Star, whose real name is Edmond Franck Gnaza, is an Ivoirian choreographer and singer-songwriter, expert in modern dance and gymnastics. Son of the singer Daniel Gnaza and a dancer of the “Haïzé club”, he began very early, from the age of 7, to dance, first of all traditional African dance.
After a spell in 1996 at “Djolem d’Abobo”, he became choreographer of Gadji Céli Saint-Joseph.
After immigrating to France, he became choreographer in 2002 of Extra Musica, Manoo Lele, Petit Denis, Zike. Then choreographer Molare, Teeyah, JetSet or Fally Ipupa. In 2006, he was elected Best Dancer of the African Diaspora at the Africa Music Awards in Paris.
In 2008, he released his own album titled Sacred Territory in which he released two new concepts, including pieces Tchi-Tchi, Phenomenon or Malembe and Ya what in jealousy, which propels him to the top of the cut-shifted in Côte d ‘ Ivory.
