Elow’n, whose real name is N’WOLE BRICE, was born on October 10, 1990 in Issia in the west of Ivory Coast to a father who was a teacher. He is a singer-songwriter and member of the Ivorian rap group Kiff No Beat. He spent all his childhood traveling across the country which allowed him to learn and speak several local Ivorian languages such as Malinké, Apollo, Agni and Baoulé.
With his cousin GNAHORE Camille alias BLACK K, he composed his first texts, frequented recording studios and freestyle competitions.
In 2007, he formed the KNB group with his cousin Black. K. Originally KNB stood for Kamille and Brice, an acronym which grouped their different names (Kamille corresponded to Camille). Shortly afterwards they meet DIDI.B, JOOCHAR and El JAY and decide to integrate them into the group, so KNB becomes KIFF NO BEAT.
In 2010 with his group he won the prize for best rap group at the biggest urban music competition. They make themselves known to the general public. After spending two years at the University of Abidjan campus, Elow’n having found his way, decided to devote himself to music which became his profession.
In 2020, ELOW’N is releasing “Demain y pas cours” its first solo single. His single receives a good review after music lovers. Since then, other successful sounds have been published which confirms his monster talent.
