Don Nakess
Don Nakess is an author and singer from Lyon. Originally from Gabon, he grew up in Libreville.
He began rapping at the age of 15 and made himself known in his neighborhood and high school with his freestyles. In 2003 he creates with his friends the group LigAram which he will be the leader. They will release a maxi-single “High Dimension” whose title “I was told” will loop on radio and television Gabonese. In 2007 they are finalists of the talent contest organized by the Gabonese AFJ Production label.
He moved to France in 2008 to pursue his graduate studies in commerce.
In 2010, he joins Ricky B and Dez’1volt on a joint project: “BUILD MY BUZZ” which will be sold in Fnac. In 2011, he released the mixtape “A MON TOUR” whose title “O.T.D.B.” will count 13,500 views. Then comes the project “IF ONLY YOU BELIEVE” the following year which will be a real success on social networks and music platforms (5,000 downloads).
