In the city of Yaoundé, the political capital of Cameroon, born on June 2, 1990, the musician MALONGO BELINGA Lionel, who is known as “PETIT MALO”. This native of NKOLNDONGO, very popular district of his city of birth proves to be a very good student. Very early, he is torn apart not only between studies but between music and football.
First of all in parallel to the studies, he will lead a career of footballer and in his lost hours, to work like DJ in the clubs of the city.
Following a knee injury that will keep him out of the stadiums for a long time and compromise his high school, he will resolve to make a musical career. Between a little job to survive and DJ, he deepened knowledge of instruments since at the base he plays percussion (Djembe, Marakass, castanet …). Then he set up his music group MBOLE CORPORATION with which he plays live with traditional instruments to animate ceremonies and whose fame will spread very quickly beyond the city of Yaoundé. He also composed several songs for the group and is also the lead singer. All his musical creativity earned him the TALENT D’AFRIK prize awarded to Yaoundé in March 2016 at the SAGA D’AFRIK event.
His very particular style BIKUTSI TRAP will push several musicians artists to solicit his collaboration for songs like the artist musician Jocelyne Bizar in 2013 on the title “Essam seugle”.
Unhappy Candidate of the Mutzig star competition in 2015, he decides to enter a solo career in January 2016 after writing and recording several songs.
