Armel Gabbana
Among the heirs of Fela, there is a Cameroonian, young and ambitious. Unknown to the general public of Senegal, Armel Ulrich Omvé, better known as Armel Gabbana, intends to wear Afrobeat even higher than Wizkid, Flavor or other artists. Coming to study in 2009 in the biggest school of commerce of Senegal, Armel becomes by force of things, a musician. But not least, the young Cameroonian is under contract with Akon. He will release his first album at the end of the year.
The adventure still exciting, it leaves a year later another single with the prince of the mbalax: Wally Seck, “jimmi” which makes the hit in Senegal. We also find him as a guest star in the concerts of big stars: Kaaris, Wizkid… Recently, it is with Petit Pays of Cameroon that our artist redo live the title “mulema” for the pleasure of his fans.
In 2016, he flew to the Ivory Coast for another featuring with the band Kiff no Beat.
