Mawndoé Célestin, artist, musician and sculptor (Chad / Burkina Faso). Originally from Chad, he was born in Moundou, a town in the south of Chad.
Céléstin Maoundoué learns to sing about emotions from his “weeping” grandmother of the Ngambay ethnic group from Chad. It integrates the styles of Afrobeat, Hip hop, R & B, Reggae, Rumba, urban music, Jazz, various rhythms and sounds which, mixed with its Chadian influences, will be the marks of a very singular style.
Mawndoé, there are several clips that hit pan-African channels, including feats with artists of different nationalities; and the nomination for the KORA Award from MASA in the category “Best Singer of Central Africa”.
