Sessimè
Bidossessi Christelle Guédou was born in Cove in the West African Republic of Benin. She takes her artist’s name from her own indigenous name Bidossessi, which means “Everything depends on destiny,” or “Everything is in the hands of God.” The name Sessimè is made in another way to say Biossessi, that little name in language, her mother tongue to her.
A singer-songwriter, vocalist and vocalist, Sessimè, in AfroPopRock style, was the biggest revelation of 2011 in Benin.
