Baloji
Baloji is a congolese poet, composer-lyricist/beatmaker, scriptwriter, actor and performer, video artist and stylist.
Baloji, born September 12, 1979 in Lubumbashi, Congo (DRC), is a rapper songwriter, director and artistic director of Belgian films and video clips. He is formerly known as MC Balo in the Starflam group.
Solo, he sings in French. In 2008, he published his first solo album, Hotel Impala, certified gold and doubly awarded to the Octaves d’Or. It is followed by a second solo album, Kinshasa branch in 2010, and a solo EP titled 64 Bits and Malachite in 2015, in March 2018 he released his album 137 Avenue Kaniama.
