The grand nephew of the Gabonese folk singer Pierre Akendengué, initiated very young at the piano, he turned in 2003 to the performing arts, being compared to his debut at Jean Guidoni. He has published a dozen albums, first on his own, then under different labels since 2008. On March 22, 2013, he celebrated his 10-year career at the Auguste Théâtre (formerly l’Espace la Comedia), in Paris. Best known for his song At the table, he is essentially a stage artist. He has performed in France but also in Belgium and Germany. It addresses the themes of miscegenation, family, travel, difference.
In 2006, he played the role of a baron in a short film by Remi Lange, Statross the Magnificent, alongside Pascale Ourbih. He also composes the music of the film Devotee by the same director in 2008.
It was the subject of a paragraph in the book The Blacks in French Cinema, Régis Dubois (2012, the Book Edition). Biographer Bernard Violet dedicates a page in his book on Yannick Noah, Yannick Noah, the Peaceful Warrior (Editions Fayard), in 2009. In 2010, the biographer and lyricist Alain Pozzuoli devotes two pages in his book Sexy Songs (Editions Didier Carpentier), on the eroticism in the song, by evoking the title I would like.
On November 28, 2010, he relies on his position apart in the music and society, in the show The Love in all genres, on France 3.
He performs on January 21, 2017 at the Café de la Danse, in Paris, as part of the show A Dawn Rises, alongside Tita Nzebi, Jearian, François N’Gwa, for the respect of democracy in Gabon, interpreting especially No Importance and Dad, Mum. On February 3, 2018, he opened the show ‘Clair de Lune’ again at the Café de la Danse, whose headliner is Tita Nzebi. On February 14, the program Afronight devotes him half an hour of interview on the Télésud cable channel. The artist talks about his career, his family, the weight of Gabon in his career.
