Mr Shyne
Born in the 90s in the western region of Cameroon, Mr Shyne (Joel Fotso his real name), discovered his talent when he was only 6 years in the choir of a local church. It is then that he will take drums lessons then a few years later will start singing and soon after he will begin to touch the piano.
Arrived in Douala in 2008, he embarked on the arrangement and beatmaking in a studio of the place. And a few years later, he produces hits like: Ambe ft X-MALEYA’s Little to Small, Ambe’s Ali, Ambe’s Kpata kpata, Maria’s X-MALEYA ft. Mr Leo, Do your X-MALEYA ft Label test, Rhythmz, Tao and Mr Shyne, Vanity of Michaël kiessou, Chubby of Elje Contador, Shift Niffay (France), By your side of Sonya Kay ft Mr Shyne, and many others ….
Mr Shyne is a multi-talented artist. He is drummer, pianist, singer, arranger, beatmaker. He recently joined Dex Willy’s War Machine Music.
